丨晶礦小學堂丨

莫桑鑽moissanite，也稱莫桑石，1893年由法國化學家亨利莫瓦桑Henri Moissan最早發現而得名。
是天然碳化矽晶體的別稱，以美國西岸開採最多。
碳化矽硬度僅次於鑽石，韌性、耐火性更佳，用於珠寶製作，其晶體和薄膜有許多工業用途。
市場上的莫桑石都是由實驗室培育而成的，主要成分為碳化硅，產量因而大為提升了。然而培育技術門檻較高。
實驗室培育的莫桑石在市場上的價格平穩，然而它的轉售能力不大，但因為硬度和耐用度高
莫氏硬度：9.25，相對高，可採用鑽石切割法，而亮度佳。(鑽石為10)

備註：

莫桑鑽可少去昂貴鑽石造成的心理負擔，時尚新寵。
硬度足，亮度如鑽石。是最佳取代昂貴鑽石的選擇。
